Don Cox Founder, Senior Investment Advisor

Don Cox established the accounting firm Cox & Lucy CPA in 1981 and Pacific Asset Management in 1998. Don is a Certified Public Accountant and Senior Investment Advisor for Pacific Asset Management. His professional associations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA - 1977), and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA-1977). Don is a past president of the Port Orchard Rotary Club and remains very active in Rotary.

Don resides in Port Orchard, Washington with his wife Julie. Julie and Don have two children, their daughter Jamie and their son Brian. Don is an avid sailor and spends much of his time on his sailboat with his family.

Gary Lucy Founder, Senior Investment Advisor

In 1984, Gary Lucy joined Don Cox to form the CPA firm, Cox and Lucy. In 1998, they established the investment advisory firm of Pacific Asset Management. In addition to his credentials as a Certified Public Accountant, Gary is also a Certified Financial Planner and a Registered Investment Advisor. His professional associations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA - 1977), and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA-1984).

Gary is a past president of the Port Orchard Rotary Club.

Gary lives the majority of the year in Port Orchard, Washington with his wife, JoAn. When he needs a break from the rain, he spends time at their second home near Tucson, Arizona. Gary is an avid hiker, kayaker and acoustic guitar player. Gary and JoAn have two children, a daughter, Kim and a son, Steve.

Brian Cox Investment Advisor

Brian Cox joined Pacific Asset Management in October of 2007. Brian is an investment advisor and operations associate.

Brian earned his degree in Finance at the Pamplin School of Business at the University of Portland. He has passed the necessary exam to become an investment adviser, and is also continuing his education to become a certified financial planner.

Brian and his wife Stephanie have a passion for athletics. Brian competed in the West Coast Conference as a pitcher for the University of Portland baseball team, while Stephanie played soccer at University of Portland. Stephanie played for the US Women’s National Team during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, earning a Gold Medal. Stephanie now plays for the Boston Breakers. Brian coaches boys’ basketball at South Kitsap High School. Brian and Stephanie reside in Gig Harbor, WA.

Alison Fong Operations Manager

Alison Fong rejoins Pacific Asset Management in October 2011 as Operations Manager. She will be in charge of regulatory compliance and maintaining and working with clients on daily account activities. She plans to study for a Series 65, designating her as an investment advisor representative, enabling her to advise clients on their portfolio.

Alison earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from Purdue University in Management. She previously served as an Investment Banker with Bank One in Indiana, a Broker with City Securities Corporation in Indiana, and Operations Manager at Pacific Asset Management.

For the past seven + years Alison has been at home with her two girls. In her spare time she is involved in various community activities, enjoys running, and spending time with family and friends.

Don Gardner Senior Investment Advisor

In 2001, Don Gardner joined Pacific Asset Management as an Investment Advisor and Certified Financial Planner. In addition to his asset management clients, Don also operates a full service CPA firm in Shelton, Washington. Don received his degree in accounting at the University of Washington in 1976. He received his CPA designation in 1980 and his CFP designation in 1994. His professional associations include membership to the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. Don resides in Shelton, Washington with his wife and has four children.
